The Scottish Community Councils project has launched a new cost of living hub for Community Councils.
The resource, which is available on the Scottish Community Councils website, compiles a list of national resources as well as local organisations which can provide help and support, listed by local authority region.
The site also contains case studies from Community Councils who have been taking action to help tackle the cost of living crisis in their local area.
Brian Davey, Community Councils Communications Officer at the Improvement Service, said:
“The cost of living hub is designed to help Community Councils share useful information with their communities, but we also want their help to keep growing this valuable resource.
“There are lots of local organisations out there which are providing support to help people through the cost of living crisis, and we want to keep adding more information to our hub.
“If Community Councils think there are other organisations in their area which should be added to this resource, they can contact scottishccs@improvementservice.org.uk – or indeed any voluntary groups and charities providing cost of living support in their community can contact us directly themselves.”
