The National Lottery Community Fund has launched a new fund for community organisations supporting people through the cost of living crisis.
The Cost of Living Fund Scotland aims to fund activities that prevents or reduces the impact of financial insecurity. The funding can be used to support activity that ensures people:
- have more resilience and are more able to identify ways to deal with the impact of increased cost of living in their lives
- are able to shape activity in their community to address the increased cost-of-living
- have more access to support and services that will help them to deal with the increased cost of living
More people than ever before are likely to face severe challenges as a result of the cost-of-living crisis, and community organisations are playing a vital role in helping to address these challenges through various projects.
Organisations can apply for funding of between £10,000 and £75,000 to support cost of living projects, and you can find out more about the fund and how to apply on The National Lottery Community Fund website.
