- This session outlines the big picture of how to create a Local Place Plan for your community. It expands on the short intro to this topic given at the end of the previous session.
- The stages of developing a Local Place Plan are clearly broken down to give you an overview of stages involved in running a Local Place Plan process. Building trust and strengthening relationships are key to good delivery.
- How can your community group deliver a Local Place Plan in a planned out, systematic way?
- How can you maximise the mandate and buy-in from your community for the plan you create?
- How can you ensure that your process will enable you to meet all the criteria for successful submission at the end?
- What do you need to do for the statutory 28-day consultation period (AKA the Information Notice period)?
- What is a reasonable timeframe for creating a Local Place Plan, and what roles are needed
- What are essential elements of a well-managed Local Place Plan process: and what are just “nice-to-haves”?
We will look at all these questions during this session with a Q&A at the end.
All training will be delivered by Imagine If.Space and Place at the Table.
