Community Wealth Building: A Community-led approach to care at home in rural Scotland

Participants will hear from Miriam McKenna, Programme Manager: Inequality and Economy at the Improvement Service who will give a brief overview of Community Wealth Building in Scotland. Dr Susan Warren will then talk about SKS Scotland’s work with the communities of Rannoch, and Dunkeld and Birnam in North Perthshire, which has focused on finding a solution to the inequality of access to care at home and other social care services experienced by these rural, remote communities.
